Sharon Geltner’s career has spanned social work, social climbing, social media
and social distancing.
She was a Washington reporter, traveling to Israel, Egypt, Lapland, Scandinavia,
Singapore, Mexico, Caribbean and was briefly a war correspondent in the Mideast.
The Society of Professional Journalists honored Geltner for arts & culture
writing and outstanding news reporting.
Geltner was “banned from Boca,” after she revealed the town’s biggest
philanthropist bought the fake title of “countess” from a con man.
Later, she publicized nonprofits. The founder of Estella's Brilliant Bus became
a Top 10 CNN Hero, was honored by the White House, Oprah Winfrey, Toyota and got
a free, 9 million dollars Super Bowl ad from Microsoft.
