Seth D. Postell

Seth Postell (PhD, Hebrew Bible) serves as Academic Dean of Israel College of the Bible (ONE FOR ISRAEL Bible College) in Netanya, Israel. His research focuses on the literary unity of Scripture, narrative analogy, biblical theology, and the way the New Testament interprets and uses the Tanakh, particularly in the Torah, the Psalms, and the Prophets.

He is the author of several books, including Adam as Israel (2011), With All Your Mind and Heart (2024), and The Art of Narrative Analogy (2025), and is currently working on a commentary on the book of Esther. His work explores how the Bible interprets itself and how careful literary reading can illuminate the theological message of Scripture.

Dr. Postell has also contributed essays to The Moody Handbook of Messianic Prophecy (2020), The Handbook of the Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith (2021), The Handbook of the Jewish Roots of the Gospels (2021), and Reading the Psalms Theologically (2022), in addition to publishing numerous academic articles.

He lives in Israel with his family and regularly teaches on biblical theology and the literary design of Scripture to students, pastors, and readers around the world.
