Anne Wilson

In 2010 I gained a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing and Linguistics and two or three of the writing assignments evolved into early chapters of my first novel 'Here Be Dragons: A Tale of Mortals, Myths and Mystery'. I drew my inspiration for this murder mystery from time spent living in Mallorca and from some of the characters I encountered there. I also researched life in Denmark where part of the story is set.

I always turn to nature and the supernatural to inspire me and work surrounded by some very well-thumbed nature books and a very dog-eared thesaurus.

I have also had short stories published in fourteen anthologies to date and short items published in various magazines etc.

I am currently halfway through my second novel titled, 'A Bundle of Bones'. I am in the process of developing my characters and delving into the history of the small English village at the top of Morecambe Bay where they live.
