KG Newman

KG Newman is a fourth-generation Coloradan and an Arizona State University graduate. His work deals heavily with the complicated nature of familial relationships, the contradictions of suburban America, the game of baseball and modern romance.

In addition to writing poetry, he makes his living as a sportswriter covering the Rockies, Broncos and more Colorado sports at The Denver Post. Since his childhood dream of becoming a big-league ballplayer has long evaporated, he now plans on peddling poems and articles for the rest of his life.
