John Rasiej

John is known as the The Entrepreneur's Missing Link(TM) and founder of Speak Louder Than Words(SM). He works with committed, purposeful business leaders who have a bigger vision of changing lives but struggle to convey their messages so that clients recognize their value and brilliance. He focuses on improving their connection by using powerful public speaking to spread those messages effectively. John has a gift for helping people find the deeper core story that resonates more powerfully with potential customers and clients, as well as clarity to show their value in ways that others understand why it makes a difference. John is the author of "Speak Louder Than Words: Five Ways You Can Change Lives and Boost Your Bottom Line Through Great Public Speaking."

Speak Louder Than Words (SM) was created to help dedicated entrepreneurs, executives and business leaders to speak their messages with clarity and more impact. His approach embraces techniques from a tired and true source outside the business world: the theatre. John blends 20 years experience as a director, adds a focus on business and marketing strategies, and applies them to public speaking. John still directs theatre to this day, having just directed a production of "The Odd Couple" featuring ABC newsman Don Polec.

With people overwhelmed by information from the Internet, television and print media, public speaking is more crucial than ever. John helps people not only create strong messages but also refine skills and techniques needed to deliver them for maximum effect. This transforms communication into deeper connection with the people they need to reach.

His clients report dramatically improved results in how their messages are received resulting in a better rate of client attraction. Speakers feel more confident and authentically connected when delivering speeches and are able to affect listeners in positive ways.

John offers limited spots for individual coaching to help people refine their message at many levels. Occasional group programs are offered in the areas of compelling story, communicating value or overall speaking needs. For those who have a major speaking engagement planned, a VIP day can enable you to both quickly craft your Signature Speech and boost your technique.

A powerfully delivered message will reach more people in deeper ways, create more positive change and build your bottom line faster and more consistently.

“It’s a brilliant way of speaking and communicating. I came away feeling confident that I had new tools to work with, to help me carry my message with clarity and with passion. My message is important, in that I want others to step up to the plate, to do their part in making the world a better place. The day of my speech, I connected with my audience to sense what they needed. I would highly recommend you to any of my colleagues or others who want a one-on-one public speaking coach who will take them to the next level. You have what it takes to bring out the best in someone, so they can present their message with impact, passion, and integrity. You made a big difference in my life, thank you.”

~ Robin Samora, Let’s Make You Shine

John was born in New York City, the son of Polish immigrants and learned Polish before he knew English. His own communication skills were challenged by this early unfamiliarity with English when he was starting school, along with a hard-to-pronounce last name that made other children poke fun. That hesitation to speak and stand out was a pattern throughout many years. He ended up in an unfulfilling Government job which was becoming miserable and knew he needed a creative spark to have something enjoyable to which he could look forward. Thanks to his wife he took up acting, studying professionally, appearing in plays on weekends and weeknights, landing the occasional film or commercial. That acting led to a request by the head of a theatre company to direct a show, which he started doing with increasing success.

He continued doing this acting and directing in his free time for the rest of his Government time before retiring. He continued his work with Newtown Arts Company, a non-profit theatre company in Newtown, Pennsylvania. He's proud to have brought live theatre back to the stage of Newtown Theatre after an absence of 70 years there. Newtown Theatre is the oldest continually operating movie theatre in the country.

He currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with his wife Luisa and has a son Michael living in New York City.
