Sylvia Stein – Author Bio

Sylvia Stein is a published author, content writer, and lifelong storyteller. She has been a member of the Writer’s Group 750 on LinkedIn and has contributed to several anthologies with the group. She also served as a content writer and Team Advertiser with Coffee House Writers beginning in May 2017.

Stein earned her Master’s Degree in Creative Writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University in July 2015. Her writing journey began while attending SNHU, where she worked on her first novella, Closure, which was published in July 2014.

Since then, Sylvia has published several solo books, including her first young adult novel, Chasing Clarity, published in October 2015. The story was originally created during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in 2013. Her third solo book, The Diary of a Broken Father, was released in February 2017 and was nominated by Fossend Press for a 2017 book award.

In March 2026, Sylvia released her newest novel, Battered Mind, a psychological thriller that marks another chapter in her journey as an independent author.

Sylvia resides in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, with her amazing husband, Jeremy, and their three children. When she isn't writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, drinking coffee, and continuing to create stories that connect with readers.
