Geoff G. Thomas

As you’ve taken time to learn a little more about me, I really ought to introduce myself properly. I’m Geoff G. Thomas, aka ‘Blue88’, an undeserving man who with a little massaging of circumstances, managed to escape the mediocrity of life working as a motorcycle despatch rider in London. There you have it, my cover’s been blown, the secret’s out, I’m not really an author at all.

Raised: Darlington, County Durham.

Parents: George & Barbara Thomas.

Education: Failed.

Career: Unconventional.

Status: It’s Complicated.

In 2008, I turned my back on a career that never was, sold all of my worldly goods and set out to ride around the world on a motorcycle. Somewhere along the way, that original six-month journey has morphed into an adventure without a foreseeable ending. I have no more money now than when I first set-out from London, but now I feel like the richest man in the world. I travel cheaply, make a little money from writing and have one simple aim: To leave more smiles than miles behind me.
