Chris Henley

Chris taught for over 35 years and has used this experience to co-write a selection of books full of practical tips for teachers. He is often asked, "How have things changed over the last thirty five years?" Of course many things have changed: technology has arrived, family configurations have altered and social media is all around us, but when that classroom door closes and it is the teacher with a group of kids, the essence of brilliant teaching is the same as it ever was. You have to build great relationships which will enable you to get even the most resistant to eat out of your hand.

Chris is still passionate about education, but he also finds time to be a qualified cricket umpire, to be frequently on stage with his local Drama Group, as well as being an active Rotarian helping to raise thousands for charity. He is also a qualified Funeral celebrant.

His greatest pleasure? Spending time with his wife and family.
