During the Jesus Movement, a friend invited me to Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, and over the years since then I've tried to balance what I want, with what God wants. It's not an easy thing to do, and it took a long time to acknowledge that I can't do everything by self-help, so I wrote a guide book for my own edification, and anyone else interested in how self-help books compare to what the bible teaches. It's called Self-Help or God's Book. I also wrote a mystery novel about Bible prophecy and solving the puzzle of an ancient bronze scroll. It's called Door of the Gentiles. I hope these books offer something of value for your mind and spirit.
