Moore Bowen, retired English teacher, taught in Maine, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Cincinnati, has more than 100 publications of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction in a wide variety of literary magazines and anthologies and has won writing awards from the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, Passager Magazine, and Oklahoma State University. Oppression for the Heaven of It, a novel about schizophrenia, won the 2013 Kenneth Patchen Award for Experimental Fiction.
