Glynnis Osher

Glynnis Osher is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, teacher, author, artist, and aromatic alchemist devoted to the healing arts of Ayurveda, aromatherapy, and aromanutrition. She is the founder of Academy Aromatica and a long-time faculty member at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts. Born in South Africa, her love of botanicals was inspired by her Zulu nanny, Ellen Msimanga—a traditional medicine woman whose herbal rituals sparked a lifelong reverence for aromatic healing plants. Devoted to Ayurveda and the spiritual path, Glynnis honors the connection between Nature and Spirit, believing that plants are messengers bridging both worlds. She is co-author of Your Irresistible Life: 4 Seasons of Self-Care through Ayurveda and Yoga Practices That Work, and her forthcoming book, The Spice Deck: An Anthology of Ayurvedic Spice Wisdom, celebrates the alchemy of spices as food and medicine.
