Ken Lewis

Ken Lewis (1953 - Present) grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born prematurely and his eyes were injured in the incubator. Through rugged determination and the grace of God he lives a fairly normal life even though he is considered legally blind.

At a very early age he remembered a time when he was able to enjoy the Universe unencumbered by a physical body. He could will himself to be somewhere and he was there! That freedom-loving spirit, once finding itself trapped within a body, asked God, "Why did you send me here"? God left it to him to find the answers through how he chose to live his life.

Ken has always had an interest in philosophy and religion. He studied many religions. He feels that God speaks to one and all through many different means and people. In fact, he thinks that God speaks to each of us if we open ourselves to listen.

Meditation is a tool that stills the mind and opens the door for God to speak. Living life meditatively he noticed occasions where he might be able to positively influence a given situation. It could be something as simple as noticing a sad person and doing something positive to brighten that person’s day. And it could be as complex as noticing people all around us desperately in need of love and writing a book to help brighten our world.

And thus was born Lovology!
