Ashley D. Ross

Ashley D. Ross is an assistant professor in the Marine Sciences Department at Texas A&M University at Galveston. She is a social scientist whose research focuses on critical issues facing our societies, studied from a perspective of the intersection of public opinion and policy. Topics her work addresses include: disasters, climate change, political engagement, immigration, and education. She is has been called a "rising star" in disaster and hazards research, and her work has been featured in top political science journals. Most recently, she has a book in press with Dr. Stella Rouse on Millennial Generation politics.
