Poet & fiction writer SETH openly admits to having a sordid love affair with language. In his collected poems, A Black Odyssey, his language runs the gamut from the vernacular to the Elizabethan. His art includes everything from pattern poems, free verse, prose poems, sonnets, and parodies of Mother Goose: political trouble-making, love songs, fiery sermons, quiet meditations and loud questions for God.

SETH's passion for words, particularly the rhythms and sounds of speech, extends not only to his craft but to his presentation. He has carved a niche as one of Colorado best known and innovative performance poets having performed with countless musicians, actors, performance poets and dancers for more than 20 years. SETH performs weekly in Denver, Colorado with an elastic ensemble of improvisational jazz musicians.
