Tomas Bokedal

Tomas Bokedal (ThD, Lund University) is Associate Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at NLA University College, Norway, and Docent of New Testament Exegesis at Lund University, Sweden. Bokedal’s primary fields of research concern Christian origins, paratextual features of the New Testament, and and the relation of ‘Scripture and Theology’. He is the author of The Formation and Significance of the Christian Biblical Canon: A Study in Text, Ritual and Interpretation (2014) and Christ the Center: How the Rule of Faith, the Nomina Sacra, and Numerical Patterns Shape the Canon (2023).
