Michael J. Pisani

Michael J. Pisani is Professor of International Business and holds the Jerry and Felicia Campbell Endowed Professorship for Research within the College of Business at Central Michigan University (CMU) located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, USA. Additionally, Dr. Pisani is affiliated faculty in Latino entrepreneurship with the Julian Samora Research Institute at Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan, USA). Professor Pisani received his A.B. in Latin American history and international relations from the University of California, Davis, both his M.A in Latin American studies and M.B.A. in international management from the University of New Mexico, and his Ph.D. in international business from the University of Texas – Pan American. His research interests include the intersection of international business and development, informality, cross-border business and economic phenomena, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and microenterprise development primarily within Central America, the Caribbean, and the U.S.-Mexico borderlands.
