John Labbe

John Labbe grew up in Augusta, Maine in a family that has produced several fine teachers across the generations. He earned his M.S. Ed. in 1974 and has been working as a teacher, trainer, and speaker ever since.

A resident of Arlington Heights, IL, John runs Small Biz Training Works, providing training development for small companies that do not have a training department. He is also an active member of Toastmasters International. In the Toastmasters community, John has become a popular speaker, trainer, and leader. In addition, John is available to present on Random Wisdom Connections as a keynote speaker or workshop facilitator for school and business groups.

John and his wife Karen have three grown children: Jason, Emily and Matthew, who are busy building great lives. When he's not working, speaking, or reflecting on teaching, John likes to ride his bike, play golf, and putter in his woodworking shop. He proudly admits that he will never challenge for the Tour de France, is no threat whatsoever to Tiger Woods, and still has all ten fingers.
