Catherine M. Edwards

Catherine M. Edwards ("Cathy" to her friends) has always had a heart full of stories. A lifelong resident of Western Washington, she enjoyed writing from an early age, but it was becoming a grandmother in 2005 that truly unlocked the door to the magical worlds she creates today. At the loving encouragement of her granddaughter, she began sharing her tales with the world.

This inspiration blossomed into Ted E. Bear Press, her own publishing cottage where she now works as an author, illustrator, publisher, and video creator. Under the Ted E. Bear Press banner, Catherine crafts enchanting books, journals, and videos for the young and the young-at-heart. Each creation is designed with "cuddly care," celebrating gentle adventures, the bravery of a kind heart, and the magic hidden in everyday moments.

Her goal is to fill your reading nook with laughter and wonder. So, grab a cup of cocoa, get comfortable, and get lost in one of her stories.
