Joyce Putnam Eblen

Joyce Putnam Eblen grew up in suburban Philadelphia. PA. After graduating as valedictorian of her class from the Stevens School in Chestnut Hill, she went on to receive her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, a Master of Divinity degree from Lexington Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from The Union Institute. From her first paid job washing an elephant for a traveling circus, she went on to work as an actress, minister, counselor and teacher. Currently, she is enjoying life as a stand-up comic while continuing an active writing and speaking career from her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
