Michael West
Michael West is a playwright and translator.
He has had a long association with The Corn Exchange Theatre Company, Dublin, with whom he's collaborated on Man of Valour, Freefall (winner of Best Play at the Irish Theatre Awards and the Irish Writers Guild 2010), Everyday, Dublin By Lamplight and Foley.
His translations and adaptations include Mike McCormack's Solar Bones, Joyce's Dubliners, Nabokov's Lolita, The Seagull by Chekhov, The Tender Trap (a version of La Double Inconstance by Marivaux), The Marriage of Figaro by Beaumarchais, Tartuffe and Dom Juan by Molière.
