Morris Dirks

Morris Dirks spent 18 years as a senior pastor in two churches. During a particularly difficult season he sought out a spiritual director and entered his journey into the value of this spiritual discipline. In 2006 Dirks founded SoulFormation, a nonprofit organization committed to the spiritual and emotional health of leaders. Morris holds a Doctorate in Leadership and Spiritual Formation from George Fox University. He is married to Ruth, a counselor in private practice. They live in Portland, Oregon. He is the author of Forming The Leader’s Soul: An Invitation To Spiritual Direction.
