Jadzia Cypress

Can a new vision emerge from tragedy?

Just like the phoenix from the ashes, Jadzia was born in a traffic accident in Weinheim an der Bergstrasse, Germany. Jadzia Cypress has a positive, uplifting vision for humanity's future to share with her readers.

"My stories are to entertain, transport, and help the reader to re-imagine this world. To create a better future, we must first have a new mythology, as Joseph Campbell suggested. I offer that new mythology through my Truth-Fables." (Jadzia Cypress 2012)

Truth is often more compelling than mere fiction or said another way, fiction resonates with us to the extent that it helps us to see and understand truth. Truth-Fables thus enhance the enjoyment of the story line. The Truth-Fable is written as an underlying structure and Jadzia's stories are offered across many traditional genres: suspense, mystery, science-fiction, fantasy, and romance. She also writes poetry in the same vein.

Jadzia has lived in Ontario, Canada, Germany, and the Eastern United States. She currently resides in Northern British Columbia. An author, artist, and educator, Jadzia is passionate about her vision - to see sustainable living, self-actualization, and joy replace our current systemic dysfunction.

Her first offering of short stories and poetry with original art and photography by Cynthia Percy, is Truth-Fables: An Indigo's Journey. A second in the series will be published soon. Truth-Fables is available in print and e-book.

She has also published a non-fiction book, The Absolute Beginner's Guide to Meditation and Crystals, detailing easy steps to inner peace and how to use her Cypress Circlets which are available on her website, www.jadziacypressrandomllama.com.

"Without a positive vision for our future, we will have no choice but to re-create what we have always known. That is not sustainable. We need new characters, new stories, a new understanding of how to be in our world, with each other, and ourselves. My writings offer that." (Jadzia Cypress 2012)
