Charles E. Wheeler

Charles E. Wheeler was born and still lives in the hills of Southern Indiana. He grew up in the era when “westerns” ruled the television airwaves, and Zane Grey was still a household name. Zane Grey is by far his favorite author, but he enjoys the writings of Ernest Haycox as well. His personal library contains over three thousand books both fiction and non-fiction about the West—a collection almost forty years in the making. He is married, has five grandchildren, two dogs and four cats— all of whom keep him very busy. He is a previously published author in the western genre, and plans to begin spending more time writing in his retirement. (Photo by Em)
