Good news! Ethan's Heart, which launched my series, The Blackwood Brothers, published by Salt Run Publishing, won The 2017 Maggie Award for Excellence. I'm so excited. This series is an Historical Western Romance that begins in 1855. I hope you enjoy it. Book two, Escorting Darby Bloom, is Isaac's story. Now, a little about me.

Writing is all I have ever truly wanted to do. I was a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), and previously served as president in a local chapter, Ancient City Romance Authors (ACRA) in 2010 and 2013. I love helping other writers fulfill their dreams, just as my writer friends did for me when I was working hard to achieve my own goals.

I have four children and six grandchildren. My favorite movie is Jumping Jack Flash, and one of my favorite TV shows was Big Bang Theory. I am shamefully addicted to YouTube, but most of all, I love watching a story come together.

I grew up in a small town in West Virginia that is remarkably similar to Corrigan, the town where you'll meet each of the characters in my contemporary series, The Braddock's, from Bell Bridge Books. I love to show my readers the beauty of my home state through the eyes of Carly and Luke, in Carly's Rule. I shared my love of West Virginia through the eyes of Dusty and Jules, the hero and heroine in my second book, Dusty's Fate. My historical western romance, Ethan's Heart, launched The Blackwood Brothers series with Salt Run Publishing. This is actually, the book of my heart, and it won The 2017 Maggie Award for Excellence. I hope you enjoy it.
