To God be the glory —as every good thing I do and every good thing I have had, has come from Him. When I was adopted at 14 months old, I was passed from the loving hands of God to the loving arms of a mother that would fight an angry bear for me if she had to. As Christ followers, I am not the only one who is adopted, all of us who have accepted Him as Lord of our lives are adopted sons and daughter of God because of Christ’s paying the debt we could not pay on our own. That is love. I do not feel angry or upset at having been abandoned as an infant, because I know God has a plan and a purpose for our lives and despite the circumstances I was in as a result of human decisions, He gave me a soft landing place. Life is not easy— it is hard— but if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ you can know a peace, joy and comfort that surpasses human understanding. Jesus said He would leave the 99 for one lost sheep— I was that one! At the time I wrote this book I understood Gods precepts differently than I do now as someone who has become much more of a student of the Bible— for that I will ask Gods forgiveness for things within it I do not have the power at this point to change. I can only move forward stronger in the knowledge I have gained. "...let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5: 15-16. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!
