Dear Friends,

Hope you are well?

At last - finally got my third novel in print - ‘What’s Wrong with the Right Club?’ Little did I realise when I started it that the odds of finishing it were slim, nevertheless, sometimes we can all be wrong and it’s best to be optimistic, and, as an old uncle of mine used to say - KBO! (Keep-Bu….ing-On).

Apart from letting you know that I’ve finished it - I’m asking you to buy it, since any proceeds I receive from it via Rowanvale Books, will be donated to Marie Curie hospice, Bradford, and as you know they are desperately in need of funds at the moment. Plus – who knows, you might even enjoy it!

My stay in room 2, Marie Curie, Bradford was literally lifechanging and I can vouch first-hand for their dedication and caring treatment. In March 2018 I vividly remember thinking, as I lay in bed watching TV whilst the shocking Salisbury poisoning investigations unfolded, how uncannily similar it all was to the theme of my novel, and how, disappointingly, I almost certainly wasn’t going to be able to finish it! So, high up on my priority list, when I unexpectedly thwarted the grim-reaper and returned home, was to complete it. That is when I’d got my head back into shape. (The jury’s still out on that score.) I’d no excuse really since the two pandemic lockdowns were an ideal opportunity to get my finger/ pen out.

I’ve one thing more to ask, please forward this message to as many people you think might be interested, and as I’m still in an optimistic mood I look forward to you supporting me – for Marie Curie’s sake.

Best regards,

Keith
