DEAR READER

I’m very blessed by God to have written for a living for over 40 years, in journalism, PR, and marketing. Now I have the freedom to use those gifts to tell stories I hope will inspire, encourage, and uplift you.

In those stories are characters who wrestle with their faith, make poor choices, experience loss, and face many other struggles common to life. But in the end, they find love, happiness, and most importantly, a renewed relationship with God.

You’ll also find my characters eating, whether it’s at a luncheon meeting, a celebratory occasion, or around the kitchen table. (I guess my inner foodie just has to come out and play.)

In 2020, I moved from Minneapolis, MN to Charleston, SC, my dream location. Within weeks, I felt at home. I guess I’m “a Midwestern gal with a Southern heart.”

The beauty of the Lowcountry, with its Gullah-Geechee culture, salt marshes, and ocean tides, captivated me, forever now nestled in my heart. Through my stories, I hope to share this love with you.
