Melissa Speight

Melissa Speight is an author based near York, United Kingdom.

Her novel Chasing Shadows was released with USA publishers Black Opal Books in January 2016. Her self-published novel After the Rain is also available on Kindle.

Melissa began writing from an early age and after studying a degree in Film Journalism at the University of Huddersfield, she decided to pursue a career in writing. Her love for literature began early in life and she has read hundreds of books spanning various genres. Romance and women's fiction are where she found her heart lay and began writing her own novels.

Melissa is also a qualified Early Years Teacher and a Children's Yoga Teacher. She lives near York with her husband Stuart and their two beloved dogs.
