Tom Gnagey

Septuagenarian, Tom Gnagey, writes under several pen names varying by genre. [Garrison Flint - mystery; Marc Miller - supernatural mysteries; David Drake, kids and teens; Grampa Gray - Senior silliness] With over one hundred novels and nonfiction books, along with many hundreds of stories to his credit, he is one of today’s most prolific writers.

His days as an author began long before his adult career as an educator and clinical psychologist and, in fact, before he could even write as his mother dutifully took down the stories he would spin after he got into bed at night. Bedtime stories, therefore, mean something quite different to Tom than they do to most folks.

He continues to write every day from his modest home in the Ozark Mountains. Close to home he speaks and provides programs in which he relates his experiences as a writer - often pointed and always humorous. His favorite mode of interaction with groups is the Question and Response format.

Tom prefers a simple life and spends his free time speaking, drawing, sculpting, and volunteering in child-help programs. Writing, however, is his passion and he would write every day whether anyone else ever read a word of it. He bases his writing, like his life, on a positive social philosophy and has written about that extensively. The dozen plus novels in the Raymond Masters Detective Series are among his most widely read books. Over 100 of his novels and self-help books are currently available as Amazon Paper Backs and Kindle eBooks.
