Laura Purcell

Laura Purcell is a former bookseller and lives in Colchester with her husband and pet guinea pigs.

Her historical gothic novels have won multiple awards including the WHSmith Thumping Good Read, Capital Crime Historical Crime Book of the Year and the Dracula Society's Children of the Night Award. She has contributed short stories to best selling collections The Haunting Season and The Winter Spirits. She worked as lead writer on Roanoke Falls, a Realm horror podcast executive produced by John Carpenter.
