Robert M. Myers

Robert Myers is the leader of the Master’s Touch Outreach Ministry at Reid Temple AME Church in Glenndale and Silver Spring, Maryland. The Master’s Touch Outreach Ministry is a ministry that ministers to the homeless and disenfranchised in Washington DC, Prince Georges County, and Montgomery County, MD by serving food and providing spiritual encouragement to those in need. Over the last twelve years, the ministry has served over 40,000 meals, offered over 13,000 prayers, and led over 1,000 souls to salvation. For over the past thirteen years, Robert has provided weekly training to the ministry members to prepare them for outreach. Members have applied the teachings from the weekly training sessions to the lost in their communities, places of employment, and families resulting in multitudes of souls being saved. Robert is the author of Spirit Driven Evangelism, which is a composite of the lessons taught in these weekly training sessions and applied during the ministry’s monthly visits to perform the Great Commission. In giving it a five star rating, Readers Favorite, said “Spirit Driven Evangelism is a small book with a mere 98 pages, but it is a powerful book and can certainly be an invaluable tool for ministry… I highly recommend this book for all church leaders and all willing or called to Evangelism.”

At Reid Temple AME Church, Robert is the leader of a program, entitled Infrastructure for Change (IFC), that focuses on bringing outreach ministries together to share spiritual and natural resources to meet the needs of the community. The IFC program has helped bring ministries/organizations together to support one another in advancing the Kingdom of GOD and re-build lives that have been damaged by the circumstances of life.

Robert is also a co-founder of the Helping People Who Help People Foundation, an organization formed to provide financial and non financial support to: (1) help and rebuild the lives of those in the community who are in need; and (2) non profit organizations whose missions are to help and rebuild the lives of those in the community who are in need. Such needs may include: rehabilitation services, educational/training, housing/utility, and spiritual enrichment.
