David S. Stevenson

I've been writing astronomy books since 2013. With a PhD in Genetics from Cambridge University, I moved into astronomy and astrobiology, writing with Springer in 2011, publishing my first books in 2013. Since then I've published five more: "The Complex Lives of Star Clusters" (2015), "The Exo-Weather Report" (2016); "The Nature of Life and its Potential to Survive" (2017); "Granite Skyscrapers" (2018) and "Red Dwarfs" (2019), which is a second and more academic version of the 2013 book "Under a Crimson Sun".

Various spin-off academic papers have been published since 2017, including "Phytoclimatic Mapping of Exoplanets", which is previewed in the latest Red Dwarf book.
