Brad Lubken is a life-loving cancer survivor from Tacoma, Washington, now living in Seattle, Washington.

Brad's Cancer Life

Brad was diagnosed with late stage two Testicular Cancer, just a month and a half before his 21st birthday, on July 30th, 2004. His approach to the disease was one of optimism rather than despair, which allowed him to maintain the mindset that It's Just Cancer. Fighting for his life taught him to appreciate each day and every relationship life offers.

Brad's Professional Life

Brad entered the corporate consulting world after graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Business Administration. This career has allowed him to work in various industries and to contribute to a wide variety of project work. While his experience is diverse, he excels in project management and on marketing related initiatives. In addition, in 2012 Brad established Lubken Budgeting Services; a personal finance counseling service which puts clients on the path of getting out of debt and building wealth.

Brad's Hobby Life

When Brad is not consulting or counseling people out of debt, he is usually salmon fishing in Puget Sound, duck hunting in Washington's Chehalis Valley, or performing musical theater in the local community theaters. He also enjoys learning about and playing the stock market. He started investing in mutual funds and stocks, but has added stock options to his investment mix.
