I'm Shannon Upton, a Christian speaker and author. I help women clear out their spiritual clutter so they can fully enjoy their families and their Lord.
I'm a dedicated wife and mother of three with a passion for living with intention. My family lives in Central Ohio and we love every season! My husband, Travis, and I are raising our kids to love Jesus and their family.
I'm the author of the Organizing You books, self-help guides for Christian moms about how to clear out spiritual clutter and live an abundant life in Christ.
I'm a speaker. I love informing and entertaining audiences while sharing my ministry message. I've crafted ten organizing talks and one keynote talk--I'd love to speak to your group! And if your moms' group doesn't have the budget to fly me in, check out my Time Management Video Meeting on OrganizingJesusMoms.com.
I'm a follower of Jesus Christ who loves to read the Bible. I blog about living abundantly through scripture. I've also written a Free Six-Week Organizing You Group Bible study to help you dive deeper into God's word and intentionally grow closer to Christ.
I'm an encourager and I love to share organizing thoughts, prayers, ideas, and scriptures with my Facebook followers.
I'm an organizer and have always wanted perfect closets! As a child, I forced my little sister to help me organize my bedroom on a regular basis. Then, as a stay-at-home mom with three amazing kids and a wonderful husband, I learned about functional, realistic organizing! Now I love to help women become just organized enough to truly enjoy life.
I'm learner who tries new things! I cherish family time and fun activities, so I'm slightly addicted to Pinterest. I also love to read books and post short reviews on Goodreads.
I'm a teacher. Before becoming a mom, I taught high school math, from Pre-algebra to Calculus. My special gift in the classroom was being able to explain difficult material in a way the kids could really understand. I now educate women about how to clear out the clutter in their schedules, homes, and spirits.
And, I'm an anxiety fighter who struggled with a postpartum anxiety disorder for four years. I developed the concept of spiritual clutter after going through that difficult time. Through organization and surrender, I've learned how to overcome anxiety, and I want to share that with you!
I am blessed. The Lord allowed me to struggle with clinical anxiety, and then healed me of it, for His purpose. Without the grace of that experience--without His grace--I never would have written a book or began a public speaking ministry. I'm humbled but excited to share my God-granted wisdom and experience with Christian women everywhere!
