Connie Carmichael Hill

Connie Carmichael Hill moved to Oregon in 1969 and even loves the area's rain. She raised two daughters alone, and after being laid off from a large electronics company, found her passion at Portland's New Renaissance Bookshop. At the book store she spent 12 years coordinating events with spiritual authors and teachers. While at the book store she had the pleasure of meeting and exercising her "nosey-bone," interviewing 45 well-known spiritual teachers for a local alternative newspaper.

Later, because she was trying to figure it out for herself, she decided to talk to spiritual teachers about how money and spirituality worked in their lives. These interviews soon became the material for this book. Connie has also helped hundreds make drums and rattles, and lots of others make personal changes with astrology.
