Hannah Graham was born and educated in Leeds UK. She attended West Leeds Girls' High School before gaining a BA Hons in English and history from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. During a career break following the birth of her two daughters, Hannah completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She is also a sports coach and has developed programmes to raise the self-esteem of disadvantaged children. She began writing after immigrating to New Zealand in 2011.
Most of the inspiration for her writing comes from her experiences in youth work and education. She writes about contemporary issues such as age-gap relationships, father's rights to see their children and dysfunctional families.
