My wife Amy and I created Molly and the Magic Suitcase to introduce children to cultures around the world. The main characters are loosely based on our children (though our children are much younger).

Every child is an explorer. Our books show games, food, music, dance, and incredible places to visit throughout the world. The books are stories, not a travel guide. Some popular places do not make it into the book because we focus on what kids enjoy.

We interview people around the world to make sure we get it right. There is no substitute for the experience of growing up or raising a child in one of these places.

Our books honor the different ways cultures express the joy of life. Every place is different, and yet we find similarities everywhere. Enjoy the differences, celebrate the sameness.
