Diane Chamberlain

Diane Chamberlain is my maiden name. I was born 1948 in Knoxville, Tennessee but my book "Conduct Unbecoming" is an autobiographical, historical account of my service in the US Army in 1975-1976, and subsequent struggles with Post Traumatic Stress.PTSD is a gift that keeps on giving. I planned to write about PTSD during my twenty plus year career as a psychotherapist working with Vietnam vets, abused women, veterans families, and as a college professor, but not until I was into retirement did I find time to finish the work. I leave the result to you, my dear readers.

I began working at age fifteen full time. However,I have utilized the journal since age ten to write non-fiction. My mother gave me a love of reading at age two or three. I love reading and writing non-fiction. I am married to my best friend since 1979 (34 years) with two daughters, two loving sons, two granddaughters, a great-grandson, many extended family, two precious nephews, and two sweet grandnephews and so lucky to have a close relationship with my dear sister. Of course my book is dedicated to our deceased parents who gave us so much love! I am a cat mama and my favorite companion is my white Persian, cookie. My family is my greatest joy!I currently reside in the beautiful state of Virginia.

I am so fortunate to have lived such a rich full life. I have accomplished things I never thought I could, met so many wonderful people along the way. I continue in this, another chapter which has already enriched the twilight of my life even more as I meet you, the readers. God Bless.
