A. M. Harris

My name is A.M. Harris. I am a former social service director with nearly 30 years of practical experience working with individuals and families who needed help finding jobs, emergency shelter, homeless prevention, assistance with utility disconnections, pending evictions and foreclosure. I have helped my clients to solve almost every conceivable problem imaginable. Helping struggling families get back on track and providing them with the resources needed to navigate through temporary roadblocks in their lives was often a daunting task.

Unfortunately, the one-size-fits-all approach found in most resource materials on the market do not provide the dead-on solutions people who are broke and trying to survive need to overcome their situation. These books often steer clear of addressing the tough problems and often sugarcoats the issues people are dealing with. So I began to write my own material capturing 50 of the best front-line solutions I've seen help people get back on their feet and The Broke Man's Survival Guide was born.

I have helped many people pull themselves out of the gutter of life to achieve great careers and success for themselves and their families against great odds. These personal accounts have caused me to have a strong conviction that people can recover from any stumbling blocks life happens to throw in their path. These experiences are intertwined in the 50 strategies outlined in a book I've written entitled The Broke Man's Survival Guide and many are shared on my blog http://survivingthebrokelife.com

Kindest regards,

A. M. Harris
