Jared is the editor of over twenty works, including The Elements of Dark Academia, The Big Book of Cyberpunk, The Djinn Falls in Love, The Outcast Hours, The Lowest Heaven, Irregularity, and The Best of British Fantasy series.

He has been a finalist for the World Fantasy, Shirley Jackson, British Science Fiction and Hugo Awards, and twice winner of the British Fantasy Award.

Jared is co-editor of Shelfies, the popular newsletter that shares the real stories behind beloved books. He is also the creator of Kindling, the community newspaper that sparks both conversations and fires.
