Chris McNaught

Growing up the son of a Nazarene minister, Chris lived all over the country, collecting stories from New Jersey to Hawaii. After graduating from high school in Hillsboro, Oregon, he moved to Nampa, Idaho to attend college at Northwest Nazarene College (now Northwest Nazarene University - NNU). After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chris held a variety of jobs, from roofer to golf professional.

Chris has been featured in several radio programs, focusing on his search for simplicity. His goal of owning fewer than 500 items has been surpassed. He currently owns fewer than 400 items, and is constantly looking to simplify further.

In 2004 he graduated from NNU with a Master's of Science in Counseling going to work in Wendell, Idaho as a school counselor at the elementary and middle schools. He is now an adjunct professor in a graduate counseling program, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and photographer. He lives in Nampa, Idaho, close to his family.
