B L Poole

BL Poole, an American author, was born in the state of Georgia. Upon graduating from college with a BA in English, she got married and moved to Pennsylvania where she and her husband had two children. She taught elementary, middle school, and high school in the states of PA,MD, VA and GA. Poole earned her M.ED as a school counselor from Millersville University in PA and her ED.S from Georgia Southern University. She worked as a school counselor in Pennsylvania and Georgia. Poole created, implemented and worked in school and community programs which focused on helping young people succeed in life. Her experiences in the field of education and other settings, provide the inspiration for her stories. Reading has been a lifetime hobby for Poole and writing is equally enjoyable. Her writing is mission-driven. She wants her writing to inform, inspire, make a difference, and send positive, universal messages. The Drummer 1 is her first book.
