Soheila Saremi

This Dark Cat is a selection of three poetry collections from 2003-2010. The poems are composed in free-verse. Some of these poems have been translated into English to make them accessible to the English speaking reader. The author, Soheila Saremi, has published various books and essays on Persian Literature (classic and modern). Her first poetry collection, Taqvim (The Calendar), was published in 2002 by Caravan Books, Tehran. Since then, her poems have been published in different poetry collections and journals. She has taught Persian Literature at various academic centers for years and is currently living in the United States, where she continues to work as a Persian professor.
