John Henderson

John Henderson was born in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia. The family moved to the town of Yass soon afterwards where he spent his younger days before a further move, this time, to Sydney. John went to Manly Boys' High School, represented the District in cricket and spent time surfing. He joined the Australian Army in 1968 and toured Vietnam in 1969-70.

After retirement, and with his dry, cynical sense of humour, John chose to write crime satire. A Blind Eye and Anchor Man, in the Simon Webster Fiascos Series, represent an amusing and skeptical view of life and bureaucratic nonsense as viewed by the author.
