Bill Collins is a graduate of the Lynch School of Education at Boston College with a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Bill serves as a superintendent of schools in Western Massachusetts. He previously served as a superintendent in New York State and as Coordinator of the Educational Leadership Program and Assistant Professor of Education at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Bill is founder of the Principals' Academy in New York and founder of the Pioneer Valley Literacy Conference in Massachusetts. Bill was a school principal for a decade, most recently in Massachusetts. He has been a public school principal, private school principal, assistant principal, and school guidance counselor. Bill presents on school culture topics including: Principal Evaluation, New Teacher Induction & Mentoring, and Teacher-Leadership. This is his first book. In Bill's spare time he sails throughout the Northeast. Bill resides in the Berkshires with his wife Diane.
