One of the most influential African American female writers of the new millineum. SaVette has been writing since the age of fifteen and published her first novel, BossLady: The Legend of Sydney Donovan Begins, in 2010. Her new novel, My Hood, is the second of many novels to come. SaVette's novel; BossLady is currently in Hollywood awaiting to be picked up by a movie production company.

SaVette Brown (born Sandra Austin Brown)graduated Magna Cum Laude from Shaw University and is pursuing her Masters in Public Administration from North Carolina Cental University.
