Marilyn Davis

Marilyn Davis lives in southeastern Connecticut, where she owns a stable,gave riding lessons, boarded horses, and rehabilitated many problem horses over the years. A pony that she rescued inspired her to write "Maddie and Beanie's Magical Journey." "Maddie and Beanie's MJ" is illustrated by award-winning children's book illustrator, Nina Ayzenberg. Actual footage of the pony was used to create the images for the book.

Davis has written on behalf of area rescue shelters for two of Connecticut's oldest newspapers,some of which can be found online at www.theday.com. She continues to support horse rescue efforts throughout the state.
