A former teacher and technical writer, the author holds a BA degree in History and English and a Secondary Teaching Credential from a University in California. Her background includes a Diploma in Novel Writing from Long Ridge Writers Group from West Redding, Connecticut. In addition, she was accepted into the Masters Program at Stanislaus State University in California but prior to completion chose to remove herself because of issues with her Mental Illness.
Although Seeking Normal is her first novel, she's been published by The Storyteller, a writer's magazine in the South as well as newspapers in California and Colorado.
Today she is living a free fun filled life in Nevada where she is happy, satisfied and somewhat grateful that her move to the mid-west didn't materialize. Because of the economy's downward spiral, she decided to remain at her job.
Ms St. John is midway into writing her second novel; a true story concerned with a southern family's ordeal during our civil war; a story based on her father's ancestors who even though living in the south joined Lincoln's Union rather than join the Confederacy.
