Aleck A. Brown

BIRTH & REBIRTH

Dr. Aleck A. Brown was born in Jamaica, West Indies to the late Clement A. and the late Kathleen K. Brown. The youngest of nine children, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of fourteen.

MINISTRY CALL

Dr. Brown preached his first sermon in 1995. Serving on the ministerial staff of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Melbourne, FL, he was licensed to preach the gospel in 1997.

PUBLISHED WORK

He released his debut book, New Testament Handbook: A Guided Approach to Understanding the New Testament in 2008. The book was later republished in 2015. His second book, The Personhood of the Holy Spirit: A Simplified Approach to Understanding the Holy Spirit was released in 2015.

MINISTRY AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Brown is a member of Covenant Community Church, San Antonio, TX. He was licensed by Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Melbourne, FL in 1997. He was later licensed by Fairfield Church, Lithonia, GA in 2001 and was then ordained to the ministry by Fairfield Baptist Church in 2002. He is also ordained and endorsed by the Evangelical Church Alliance to serve as a military chaplain. An anointed servant desiring to see all believers excel in their biblical scholarship, Dr. Brown currently serves as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force.

EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS

Dr. Brown’s educational accomplishments include an Associate in Applied Science for Financial Management from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Science in Management of Technical Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Arts in Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice University. He also holds a Master of Education-Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, and a Graduate Certificate in Military Resilience from Liberty University. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Preaching from Newburgh Theological Seminary. He is currently a PhD candidate at Carolina University where he is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership with a concentration in Educational Administration.

LEADERSHIP & PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Dr. Brown has traveled across the United States and around the world sharing the message of Jesus Christ. He focuses his attention on exalting Jesus Christ through anointed teaching, expository preaching, Bible-based counseling, and excellence in Christian leadership. Toastmaster International recognized him for his leadership and communication skills as a Distinguished Toastmaster.

FAMILY LIFE

Dr. Brown lives his life based on Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” He is married to the former Arnita Fisher. They have one son, Jeremiah Aleck Alphanso.
