J. Frank Sexton

J. Frank Sexton was born in 1952 in Southwestern Ontario, earned a Bachelor's degree in 1975 from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master's degree from Carleton University a couple of years later. After university, he enjoyed a successful 32-year career as a civil servant before retiring and taking up writing as a passionate hobby.

Sexton is also an avid photographer and played competitive chess for many years, eventually obtaining a master's rating from the Chess Federation of Canada. He was among the early pioneers of online technology, operating a multi-line Bulletin Board System (BBS) from his home. The BBS was an early form of social media before the Internet became the dominant communication medium.

He currently lives in Canada's capital, Ottawa.
